ABOUT US

The Region VI Interagency Transition Team hosts this event every other year to promote career exploration for students grades 9-12 who are planning to attend two years or less of post secondary training/education. 

 

Vendors include two-year colleges, skilled training centers, agencies who support career development, and businesses that employee positions requiring two years or less of post secondary training/education.

  

In 2023, approximately 1000 students (grades 9-12) representing 25 area schools attended this event.  Forty vendors participated by sponsoring a “hands-on” booth-students interact with a skill related to the career the vendor represents.

This year, students will have additional time to explore vendor booths!

The Region VI Interagency Transition Team consists of Directors of Special Education Units, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, School Counselors,  Area Career & Technology Centers, Job Service North Dakota.
